I need your help with finding a necklace for my best friend & myself.. We like the idea of the bff necklaces but think it's kind of childish... So could you give me some ideas on what to do that aren't too expensive... Thanks
XOXO Rachael
Hello Rachel!
I think it's a wonderful celebration of friendship to commemorate it with a fabulous bauble! And while I agree that the standard bff necklaces are just a bit twee, there are so many other fabulous possibilities out there!
First of all, I suggest you go with sterling silver rather than any type of an overlay or vermeil. Sterling will retain its shine and will not tarnish if you wear it often, as long as you don't expose it to cosmetics, perfumes, hairspray, etc. Always put your jewelry on AFTER you have used your hairspray and perfumes.
I love classic sterling silver pendants. Shop around a bit, because there are quite a few affordable and equally stylish options out there. I adore this
round engravable pendant from Silver Creek. You can engrave initials or your full name.

sonal style and preference. Here is my all time favorite pendant: The classic Tiffany 1837 tag pendant, which comes with an 18" silver chain (the perfect length for a pendant) and best of all, it comes in one of those fabulous robin's egg blue Tiffany's boxes! AND if you get it from the Tiffany outlet it is really a great value. You can have it engraved at any jewelers.
