Hut, hut, hike! While shopping can sometimes feel more like a sporting event with dressing room dilemmas, arms full of bags and sore toes from endless laps throughout the store, your local Nordstrom Spa has the solution: Sport Pedicures. The treatment begins with an Herbal Footbath from the internationally known and podiatrist recommended brand, Gehwol. The footbath contains essential oils to help shoppers relax after a day spent on their feet.
The nails are then buffed and shaped in preparation for a moisturizing Callus Softener to smooth dry, rough calluses on the soles of the feet.
A Plasmagel is then applied to the foot and calves and placed in a heated mitt to remove cuticles and soften the skin.
A second round of buffing is completed to achieve a beautiful, high-gloss finish followed by a massage with Gehwol’s Foot Cream.
Finally, the foot is dipped in paraffin wax and placed in a liner bag. When the paraffin is removed, a pair of smooth, sexy feet are exposed and ready for another round of shopping. This remarkably hydrating pedicure is the perfect, healthy treatment for shopaholics during their shopping sprees and beyond.

Success! I just completed my Dannon Activia 14-Day Challenge, and it was a rousing success. I feel better than I have in months. I feel less sluggish, I feel like I have more energy and I am loving my Activia yogurt snacks! If you recall, my goal for the week was to locate the prune flavored Activia. And I did! You'll never guess where, however...
There, in the dairy section of the Food Pantry in Honolulu, Hawaii was a four pack of Activia prune-flavored yogurt! Yes, I said Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm not saying that I had to go clear to Hawaii to find the Activia prune-flavored yogurt -- it's just that I happened to be spending the week in Honolulu, filling in for my uber-chic mentor/boss at a trade conference while she attended Fashion Week in New York. And the little corner grocery a couple of blocks from my hotel had the yogurt. And I am here to tell you that it is, in the words of Jamie Lee Curtis, beyond tasty!
I was thrilled to find Activia so readily available. They even had it at the little novelty/convenience shops that you find on every block all throughout Waikiki, so I had no problem whatsoever procuring my daily treat. Which is even yummier when you toss in a few chunks of fresh pineapple and mango!
So, all in all, I am very happy with the results of my Dannon Activia 14-Day Challenge. In fact, I have decided to make Activia a part of my daily program! When something that is good for you tastes this great, it's a no-brainer!

The new Nuova Vita Swimwear Collection takes personalization to a whole new level with just one bathing suit to fit your every mood. And, while some fear that swimwear isn’t their strong “suit,” the new collection allows you to tie your bathing suit to create your very best look for poolside perfection.
Nuova Vita allows women to reinvent their own personal style over and over for different events without purchasing (or packing) multiple pieces. A travel must-have, you can go from daytime casual beach chic to evening glam effortlessly and in style without over packing.

Ann Taylor took a daring approach during Mercedes-Benz-Fashion week, dressing the company's employees for a "See Now, Wear Now" fashion show at their flagship store on Madison Avenue. The styles seen on the runway included those for Fall and Holiday 2010 rather than the standard Spring 2011, the standard for Fashion Week exhibitions.
Attendees were delighted by the fashions and the women they were seeing on the runway. Rather than exhibiting the latest fashions on models, Ann Taylor continued their commitment to real fashion for real women by modeling the designs on female employees.
All were in awe as the show concluded with a half hour performance by Vanessa Carlton.

I don't know about you, but I think autumn is the most spectacular time of year. With the glorious briskness in the air and all the leaves changing color it just puts a girl in the mood for...fashion! What else? Honestly, one of the most important things about the changing season is the changing fashions, no? Especially with all the marvelousness that is happening in NYC this very week! Ahh, Fashion Week, if only I could be there...
But the tradeoff is that I am sitting on a lovely lanai in Maui, typing away as I enjoy the fresh morning breeze by the pool and sip a lovely iced guava/orange/mango/pineapple concoction...I know, it's a tough job, but someone's got to do it, right? It was a tough call for me, being the obsessive fashionista that I am and having attended Fashion Week for eons, but duty called in the form of my uber-chic mentor boss needing me to fill in for her at a global conference that just happened to be taking place on the lovely island of Maui. What to do, what to do...hello! Of course I said I'd take her place and allow her to attend Fashion Week! She is my boss, after all, and I get a free trip, expenses and the fabulous gift bag to boot!
Anyhoo, as I've been sitting here participating in my all time favorite sport of people/fashion watching, I have made a few determinations, these being that there many spectacular inventions over the years that have contributed greatly to the fashion industry, making it much easier for every woman (and man) on earth to look their best. I have narrowed it down to my Top Five:
1. The zipper. Hello! Can you imagine what it would be like to have to lace yourself into your dress a'la Marie Antoinette every day? Not to mention the fact that there would be no such thing as designer jeans (and my life would be over).
2. The buttonhole/button. Same as above. Could you even imagine life without that perfect crisp white blouse that is one of the top go-to items in your wardrobe?
3. Lycra/Spandex. The slimming/containment aspect says it all. I have a gigglefit every time I try to imagine what the swimsuits surrounding this pool would be like without their 97% Lycra content!
4. The bra. Make that the perfect-fitting bra. The single most important garment a woman can own. An excellent fitting bra can make that little black dress ROCK.
5. Accessibility. Seriously, where would any of us be without the accessibility that technology has afforded us in keeping up with fashion? As I sit here by the pool, my uber-chic mentor boss is using her new Sprint 4G to stream live coverage of fashion week to me!
America's first 4G phone is also the first to deliver download speeds up to 10x faster than 3G and be a mobile hotspot for up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices. Not to mention front and rear-facing cameras and the ability to stream live video to the Web. And you get access to over 65,000 apps you've come to expect from an Android. So the only question is, what will you do first with EVO? sprint.com/firsts.

So it looks like Kelly Osbourne is joining E!'s popular series "Fashion Police," to dish on all things couture alongside celebrated red carpet legend Joan Rivers, E!'s resident fashionista Giuliana Rancic and celebrity stylist George Kotsiopoulos. And with Kelly looking as haute and stylish as ever, she will definitely add her own personal flavor to the mix.
Don't you just love celebrity dish? I love seeing what the celebs wear when they are doing "real life", as well as how haute they rock the awards shows and premiers. Which got me to thinking about some of my all time favorite celebrity looks:
I absolutely adore this grecian style gown by Marchesa that Kim Kardashian wore to this year's Emmy's. Kim has the perfect figure for this style and looks cool and elegant. A definite "yes" style.
Katie Holmes ALWAYS looks completely suave, sophisticated and elegant. I am especially loving her longer hair, even though she totally rocked that bob. This gorgeous LBD is given a little bit of sass with the animal print coat. And nude heels - totally of-the-moment style carried off with a Jackie O flair.
While I am not normally a fan of yellow, this Carolina Hererra dress that Diana Agron wore to the GLEE premier is totally hot. I just love the black web-lacing at the shoulders and across the back. And the Christian Lacroix peep-toes add the perfect counter-balance. Gorgeous.
And finally, this midnight blue Oscar de la Renta gown that Lea Michelle wore to the Emmy's is TO DIE FOR. She looked absolutely exquisite, and not at all like a high school girl geek.
Well darlings, you can bet I'll be setting my DVR for E!'s "Fashion Police" - gotta keep up on the hot and the haute, no?

Hi there girls!
I've just completed Week One of my Dannon Activia 14-Day Challenge, and I have to tell you that I am feeling very good. It was just what I needed to kick-start my commitment to a more healthy lifestyle. I love yogurt and have tried many different brands over the years, so when I decided to take part in the 14-Day Challenge I was sure I would like the taste. I was wrong. I LOVE the taste! So far I have tried every flavor except the prune, because my local grocery store is always out (therefore it must be good!) so that is my quest for this next week - find the prune flavored Activia!
I started feeling less bloated by day four, as well as feeling more energetic. I have been eating my Activia yogurt as a mid-day snack, usually with some fresh berries or crunchy granola mixed in and it is an absolute treat.
Looking forward to Week Two! Join me in the Activia 14-Day Challenge and kick start your healthy lifestyle today!

As much as I adore summer, I have to admit that I am always happy when autumn rolls around. Fall acts as a sort of catalyst for me. After several months of summer sun and fun I realize that the vacation is definitely over and it's time to get my mind and body back in sync with each other.
This fall I am going to kick off my mind/body rejuvenation with the Dannon Activia 14-Day Challenge. Dannon Activia is a delicious creamy yogurt with a unique probiotic culture that can help regulate your digestive system. For me this means that the sluggishness and irregularity that I have been experiencing for the past several weeks (too many beach barbecues!) can be greatly improved and even completely alleviated by eating Dannon Activia every day for two weeks. And the best part is that Activia is so delicious! It's a great way to start the day, not to mention the perfect mid-afternoon snack. My personal favorite is Activia Vanilla Bean yogurt topped with fresh blackberries and sprinkled with crushed granola. Yum!
So join me in taking the Dannon Activia 14-Day Challenge and get yourself back on track. Check in and I'll keep you posted!
